21 May A visit to the Exminster Local History Archives
Well a visit to the Exminster Local History Archives today yielded some wonderful little gems. I must say a big thank you to Kevin White for allowing me access to the archives and to Sally Parfitt for her hospitality and guided tour of Exminster. We now have a lovely photo on the Industrial School page taken from a postcard held in the archive. We also found a copy of “The Stylist” which was a yearly magazine produced by the Devon & Exeter Boys’ Industrial School (Church Stile School) dating from Christmas 1947. The photographs and information will be made available on the website at a later date.
